Marie-Andrée Delisle

An experienced consultant, teacher, lecturer and journalist, Marie-Andrée Delisle has been studying trends in tourism at the national and international levels for over twenty years. She is an excellent communicator with vast multi-cultural experience, always curious about new phenomena and how the tourism industry is evolving. Through her long involvement in this field, her extensive network of contacts and her ability to access a huge array of reference sources, she has the latest information constantly at her fingertips.

In addition to her in-depth knowledge of the many regions of Québec, Marie-Andrée has traveled through 60 countries, giving her a far-reaching view of the challenges in the tourism industry both in Canada and internationally. Her previous experience within distribution networks, incentive houses, publishing houses and educational establishments has enabled her to create her own company and thus fulfil her passion for tourism.

In constant contact with travel industry members, she combines professional expertise, vast experience on the ground, great creativity and a well-honed analytical sense.

Her knowledge of the industry and marketing, her global vision of the marketplace and her expertise with the tools for promotion and distribution have allowed her to present realistic action plans and practical strategies for defining and interpreting her clients' visions.

Marie-Andrée Delisle holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Sciences, a diploma in organizational development and a certificate in travel consultancy.

She completed her Master's degree in Tourism Management and Planning at Université du Québec à Montréal in 2004.

She received training in Ecotourism Planning and Management from the International Ecotourism Society, and in international cooperation at the Canadian Centre for International Studies and Cooperation (CECI); she is also a professional tourism trainer certified by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council.
